Farmgate Agribusiness Finance (ACN 680 668 731 / Credit Representative 562933) has access to a panel of lenders through National Mortgage Brokers Pty Ltd (ACN 093 874 376 / Australian Credit Licence 391209), which is a fully-owned subsidiary of Liberty Financial Pty Ltd (ACN 077 248 983 / Australian Credit Licence 286596). Farmgate Agribusiness Finance has access to products including those from Liberty Financial.

We may disclose your personal and credit information to our aggregator, National Mortgage Brokers Pty Ltd (ACN 093 874 376 / ACL 391209), its parent Liberty Financial Pty Ltd (ACN 077 248 983 / ACL 286596), and lenders on their panels (including Liberty Financial) as reasonably necessary to assess, submit and manage your credit application.

7. Overseas disclosure

Some third-party service providers may store or access personal information outside Australia (for example, cloud hosting or analytics). Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure those recipients protect your information in a manner consistent with the APPs.

8. Direct marketing and analytics

As a finance broker, we handle credit information and credit eligibility information under Part IIIA of the Privacy Act and the Privacy (Credit Reporting) Code. We may collect information about your credit history from you, from other credit providers and from credit reporting bodies (CRBs), and disclose information to them to assess your application for credit and to source suitable finance products from lenders.

The CRBs we commonly use include (as applicable):

  • illion (illion.com.au)

  • Experian (experian.com.au)

You can obtain each CRB’s policy about management of your credit information from their website, including how to access or correct your credit report or how to make a complaint.

You can request we do not use your information for prescreening of direct marketing by CRBs, and that CRBs not use or disclose your information if you reasonably believe you have been, or are likely to be, a victim of fraud.

11. Accessing and correcting your information

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, and request that it be corrected if you believe it is inaccurate, incomplete, out-of-date, irrelevant or misleading. We will respond within a reasonable period. We may need to verify your identity and, in limited circumstances, may refuse access in accordance with the law.
